Utah’s Spring Mobile enters Reno wireless phone market

Spring Mobile, a Utah-based retailer of AT&T wireless phones, has purchased JCC Wireless in northern Nevada.

The acquisition, which brings six new store locations to the company, marks Spring Mobile’s entrance into the Reno market.

Johyn Coman, the previous owner of JCC Wireless, will continue to serve with the company as regional manager over the six new Spring Mobile locations, said Jason Ellis, Spring Mobile president.

"We hope we will have the opportunity to open even more locations in the region in the near future," he said.

In addition, Spring Mobile also has opened new retail locations in Yuma and Prescott, Ariz., bringing to nine the number of stores in that state.

Spring Mobile now has 76 stores in seven states.

Founded in Utah in April 2001, Spring Mobile recently was named one of America’s 5,000 fastest-growing private companies by Inc. magazine and one of Utah’s 50 fastest-growing private companies by Utah Business magazine.
