Zions Bank employees joined together Tuesday evening to paint and spruce up the Rose Park home of Reita Lee, who has lived there for nearly 60 years.
Their efforts were part of the bank's 22nd annual Paint-a-Thon service project, which this week will see more than 3,500 employees and their families volunteering to clean, scrape and paint 50 homes in Utah and Idaho.
The Paint-a-Thon benefits low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners. The average age of this year's homeowner is 74, with an average monthly income of $1,500.
Projects to be completed during the week were selected with the assistance of state housing agencies, community organizations and local churches.
