Intermountain Healthcare’s Charles Sorenson, president and CEO, and Brent James, chief quality officer, have been named among Modern Healthcare’s "50 Most Influential Physician Executives in Healthcare." Sorenson and James were both on the list last year.

Holly Mullen has been named executive director of Rape Recovery Center. Mullen, 54, has served as interim director of the non-profit organization since Nov. 1, 2011. She previously served for three years on the center’s board of directors. Prior to her appointment at the RRC, Mullen spent more than 30 years as a reporter, editor and columnist at newspapers across the country. She is a former sports editor and news columnist for The Salt Lake Tribune.
The Downtown Alliance in Salt Lake City has named Nick Como its communications director. Como brings over a decade of marketing and public relations experience to the Alliance’s staff. He most recently served as the director of marketing and public relations at Solitude Mountain Resort.
