Ever search for a good plumber in Davis County? A new website called GoDavis.biz can help consumers get their plumbing issues solved and more.

Davis County — the creamy filling between Weber County to the north and Salt Lake County on the south — is home to a host of businesses, restaurants and entertainment opportunities that can be accessed in one centralized online space.

"We are very excited about the capability our new website offers to the small-business owners and consumers of Davis County," said Rob Brenchley, managing director of GoDavis.biz.

Brenchley touted the Farmington-based site as a resource that can help people find the best health clinic or professional service provider — enhanced by reviews written by their Davis County neighbors.

In tandem with the website’s launch, GoDavis.biz will host a "Better YOUR Business" seminar Thursday featuring Jon Bodnar of Nexstar Broadcasting, who will advise business owners on maximizing their Web efforts. The event begins at 9 a.m. at La Quinta Inn & Suites, 1965 N. 1200 West in Layton.

For more information about the "Better YOUR Business" seminar, go to www.godavis.biz or call 801-200-1968.
