The Falcon Hill Research Park at Hill Air Force Base and the Harmons grocery store at Station Park in Farmington, two projects constructed by Ogden-based R&O Construction, were named award winners at the Associated General Contractors of Utah convention held late last month in Salt Lake City.
Falcon Hill was honored as the "Industrial Building Project of the Year 2011," and Harmons at Station Park received the "Retail Project of the Year 2011."
Projects were judged on the following criteria: 1) Overcoming challenges and teamwork; 2) Safety; 3) Innovation and contribution to the industry and community; 4) Construction quality and craftsmanship, and 5) Function and aesthetic quality of the design.
The AGC of Utah is an organization of that represents construction contractors and industry related companies.
