U. of Utah event to connect students, entrepreneurs

The University of Utah is hosting an event at noon Thursday intended to provide an opportunity to meet successful entrepreneurs.

Two groups, the University of Utah’s Entrepreneur Club and the Utah Student 25, are sponsoring the free event at the Spencer Fox Eccles Building Auditorium.

Highlights will include presentations on how to turn an idea into a business. Utah Student 25 is a group that recognizes businesses founded by students.

Presenters are Utah investor and entrepreneur John Richards; Greg Warnock, managing partner of Mercato Partners and vSpring Capital; and David A. Flynn, CEO of the Utah technology company FusionIO.
