A Hampton Inn and Suites hotel has opened on Foothill Drive in Salt Lake City on a site formerly occupied by a motel and office building that were demolished.
The hotel has 81 rooms and suites, a meeting space, business center, pool and other amenities.

The site also includes new retail and office space. Foothill Dental, which occupied the demolished office building, will return.
Restaurant chain Dee’s Inc. is the owner and developer of the hotel and retail space.
The hotel is managed by Pearson Hospitality Group.
