Who else but Cadillac would provide official vehicles for a high-end resort such as Deer Valley?
The exclusive Park City-area resort has retained Cadillac, a producer of luxury automobiles since 1902, to supply Deer Valley with a fleet of 30 Escalade and SRX models.
"Cadillac is a perfect brand association with Deer Valley," Coleen Reardon, the resort's marketing director, said of the three-year deal. "We're one of the top resorts in the ski industry, and they are one of the top luxury brands in the automobile industry."
Intended for use as lodging shuttles, courtesy vehicles and for marketing, the Cadillacs also will be displayed at the resort "so that the public can appreciate the cars and learn more about them," Reardon added, noting that Cadillac images also will receive exposure on the resort's website, social media pages and trail maps. "The partnership also provides us with great cross-marketing and promotional opportunities both locally and nationally."
Cadillac marketing vice president Don Butler said the partnership is consistent with the character of both organizations.
"Establishing a partnership," he said, "simply made sense to Cadillac. Both organizations strive to deliver luxury and one-of-a-kind experiences. We have no doubt that while at Deer Valley, an already deluxe experience will be enhanced as customers are transferred in an elegant and highly capable Cadillac vehicle."
