Comcast, Halogen TV, Real Salt Lake and Soles4Souls have donated 1,000 pairs of new shoes, valued at $20,000, to help the needy in the Salt Lake Valley.
Soles4Souls, a nonprofit organization, last week enlisted the help of employees from Comcast and Halogen TV, and Real mascot Leo the Lion, to fit people with 200 pairs of shoes. The remaining 800 pairs will be dispersed among area charities, including:
