Women who want to start a small business are encouraged to apply to a training program offered by Salt Lake Banking on Women.

Successful applicants will take part in a 15-week business fundamentals course. They will be mentored by volunteers with GE Capital and get access to loans through the Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund.

Classes begin in January.

Banking on Women is a partnership of GE Capital, the Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund and the Westminster College Institute for New Enterprise.
