Telos VG hired Julie Edwards as an attorney. She specializes in complex litigation, professional liability, securities, shareholder derivative and class actions, trade-secret and other business litigation.

Brighton Bank has named Joni L. Hansen and Sabrina Erickson as vice presidents. Hansen will remain serving as human resources manager and Erickson will continue as loan-compliance officer.

Riley Duke, an estimator for R&O Construction, has earned the LEED Green Associate professional designation from the Green Building Certification Institute. The designation signifies that the individual has the knowledge of green principles and practices and are educated in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED.

Steven P. Shurtz, managing partner of the Utah office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was elected to the position of secretary of the Intellectual Property Section of the Utah State Bar Association. He will hold the position for a one-year term before advancing next year to vice chairman. In 2013, he is slated to become chairman within the leadership of the Utah State Bar IP Section.

The Salt Lake City office of CB Richard Ellis has hired Vickey Walker as a client service specialist for the Craig Thomas and Eric Gustafson team. In addition, Hank Nelson has been hired as an assistant real estate manager in the Asset Services division of the firm.

Salt Lake-area executive and philanthropist Arthur E. Benjamin was named as one of 13 American entrepreneurs that comprise the Global Entrepreneurship Delegation. Announced by the U.S. Embassy, the group will be hosted by Indonesia, where Benjamin will speak on his expertise in entrepreneurial initiatives. The team will visit that nation at the end of July.

Ruth Driggs is the new catering director at Bambara, a Kimpton restaurant at 202 S. and Main St. in Salt Lake City. She previously worked for Sheraton Salt Lake City, Thanksgiving Point and the Provo Marriott Convention Center.

Andy Miller is the new communications manager at Park City Mountain Resort. A network-news producer in Washington, D.C., for the past decade, Miller will replace Meisha Lawson, who has been promoted to senior marketing manager. Miller is a lifelong skier and has visited Park City Mountain Resort for more than 20 years.

Park City resident Zianibeth Shattuck-Owen, who represented athletes on the Salt Lake Organizing Committee board in the run-up to the 2002 Winter Olympics, received the 2011 Sam Venezia Volunteer Spirit award recently from the United States Luge Association.

Provo-based Nature's Sunshine Products Inc., a natural health and wellness company, appointed Gregory L. Probert as a member of the board of directors, to serve as a Class II director. He also was named executive vice chairman.

Salt Lake City-based C.R. England has promoted Zach Bunnell to regional sales manager within corporate sales. The company has also hired Kevin Meeks and Christopher Clark as driver instructors.

Connie Clements of East High School in Salt Lake City was recognized by the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants Foundation for her achievements in accounting education. She received the "Champion of the Profession Award" and $1,000 in cash.

Lynn Pett and Kelly Matthews each recently received the 2011 William N. Jones Trustee of Excellence award for their volunteer service with Intermountain Healthcare. Pett, a former mayor of Murray, has been a member of Intermountain's Urban Central Region board since 1999. Matthews has been a member of the governing board of Intermountain Homecare for 10 years, including three as the board's chair.
