Among U.S. cities with the "fullest employment," Salt Lake City offers the third best opportunity for finding a job, according to Forbes.com.

The online business magazine based that ranking on research done by recruitment firm Ajilon Professional Staffing, which examined a number of factors for major cities with relatively low unemployment levels. Factors include a diversity of industries, cost of living, range in size of companies offering employment and residents' level of education.

Finishing first was Minneapolis, followed by Austin, Texas, and Salt Lake City. Boston and Milwaukee rounded out the top five, while sixth through 10th went to Richmond, Va.; Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; Baltimore; Pittsburgh; and Dallas.

Utah municipalities did not figure into a second Forbes.com employment story on the best and worst cities for finding a job this spring. Those rankings were based on a survey of 18,000 employers in 100 metropolitan areas by Manpower, an employment services firm.

Spring job prospects were best in Lexington, Ky.; Greenville, S.C.; and Tulsa. Chances were lowest in New York City, Raleigh and Fresno, Calif.
