Jasper Contractors, a national roofing company that is expanding operations in northern Utah, will hold a job fair Thursday to interview candidates for 30 open positions.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 4465 Century Drive (450 West), in Murray.
Created in 2004, Jasper Contractors opened a Salt Lake City office in November at 2912 S. 460 West, hiring 100 people so far. The company also has offices in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, La., Chicago, Cincinnati, Colorado Springs, Colo., Denver, Phoenix and Lincoln, Neb.
The company's website, http://www.jaspercontractorsinc.com, said positions are available as account managers, in selling, estimating or installing roofs, in the warehouse and office administration, and as drivers. No specific salaries are listed, but the website said jobs come with free health care.
Jasper Contractors works on residential and commercial roofs, among things repairing damage from natural elements (hail, rain, water, wind, snow and ice) and condensation and inadequate ventilation.
