An Iron County woman has been charged for pimping out her teenage daughter to men who would help pay her utility bills.

The 35-year-old woman faces two counts of rape, first-degree felonies, after investigators learned that her 13-year-old daughter was raped by "several perpetrators," court documents state. The documents add that the woman "recruited" at least one of the men who raped the girl.

The woman apparently arranged the rapes to get help with her utilities, charges state.

"It has been suggested that as long as the male perpetrator was willing to assist with the payment of utilities," the documents state, "he was allowed to share a bedroom with the 13-year-old female."

The woman even went so far as to provide condoms and a bedroom where the rapes could occur, the documents add.

A judge has scheduled the woman's preliminary hearing for Dec. 4 in Cedar City.
