Utah swim & dive: 15 Utes earn All-Academic Pac-12 honors

Eleven women and four men from Utah's swim and diving team were named to the Pac-12 All-Conference Academic Team.

To qualify, an athlete must have a 3.0 minimum grade-point average and be a significant contributor in the pool.

Senior captain Danielle Caldwell and sophomore Kersten Merry were elected to the Pac-12 First Team, while junior Valerie McMullan earned second-team recognition with a 3.60 GPA, while studying Physical Therapy.

Caleb Herrick and Bjorn Gunnarsson were named to the second team, while Kayla Buck, Maddie Jamora, Nicole Ligeza, Jasmine Matkovic, Lindsay McSweeney, Treasa Ring, Traycie Swartz, Samantha Zuch, Graham Charlton and Brandon Stoppelmoor earned Honorable Mention status.
