A 61-year-old man who had been missing for more 10 days has been found dead in Blacksmith Fork Canyon, east of Hyrum.

Osmer Michael Baker, of Paradise, was last seen on Sept. 5 in Logan, according to the Cache County Sheriff's Office.

A Utah Department of Transportation mowing crew found the missing man's body on the side of the road. Officials said it appeared he had died due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, though the state medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death.

Since he was last seen, Cache County sheriff's deputies have been on the lookout for Baker, whose family alerted authorities to his disappearance. He reportedly drove a 2014 orange TaoTao Powermax Scooter.
