Color Run • Billed as "The happiest 5K on the planet," this un-timed run douses participants with colors along the route. Information, http://www.thecolorrun.com.

Admission: $7, free for children ages 2 and under

Fairy Tale Expo • Meet your favorite fairy tale characters, watch on-stage shows and play in the kids corner. Information, http://www.kandjevents.co/fairy-tale-expo.

When: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday

Where: South Towne Expo Center, 9575 S. State St., Sandy

Admission: Adults $4.50, kids $3.50, children 2 and under free

2nd Annual Ogden Roots & Blues Festival • Listen to blues and roots musicians including Booker T. Jones, Carolyn Wonderland and more. Camping is available on-site. Information, http://www.ofoam.org/festivals/ogden-roots-and-blues-festival.html.

When: Music starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday, noon Saturday and Sunday

Where: Ogden Valley's North Fork Park – Cutler Flats
