West Valley City police are looking for two armed robbery suspects who burst into a 7-Eleven store late Tuesday night, grabbed cash and fled in a pickup truck.
WVCPD spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku said the suspects entered the store at 6400 W. 4100 South about 10:20 p.m. One of them pulled out a handgun and as the clerk and three customers backed away, he and his partner emptied the cash register.
"The men were seen jumping into the back of a late 80s to early 90s extended cab Ford pickup, colored red over white and tan. The truck was last seen southbound on 6400 West," Vainuku said.
One of the suspects was a 6-foot, heavily built Asian male in his mid-20s; the second man was white, 5-foot-10, of medium build and also in his mid-20s. Both suspects wore blue jeans, blue short sleeved T-shirts, gloves and ski masks.
There is no description of the driver.
