A Syracuse teenager suffered life-threatening injuries after a pickup truck backed over her.

The 15-year-old was sunbathing about noon Friday in her driveway, near 2700 South 3000 West, when a family member backed up, not knowing she was there, said Syracuse police Officer Erin Behm.

The girl was taken in a medical helicopter to a local hospital in critical condition.

The incident remains under investigation, but there was no foul play involved, Behm said.
