Former BYU QB Max Hall voted Utah’s ‘most disliked’ sports figure

BYU quarterback Max Hall wasn’t shy about his hate for the Utah Utes program in 2009 and it appears even five years later, Utah sports fans dislike him just as much.

Hall garnered 35 percent and 673 of nearly 2,000 votes in the Tribune’s "Most Disliked Utah sports figure" poll, which you can continue voting for above. Here’s the entire list:

It appears the wound is still fresh for a large amount of Ute fans in regard to Hall’s comments after guiding the Cougars to a 26-23 win over Utah in 2009. In response to reported attacks on his family in BYU’s 48-24 loss to Utah the previous season, Hall said: "I don’t like Utah. In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them. I hate their program, their fans. I hate everything. It felt really good to send those guys home."
