Some people feed wild birds; then there are those who build them homes. Call it Habitat for Birdity.

Ogden Nature Center is holding its popular annual birdhouse competition, with entries due the week of March 24 through 29.

Entering the 21st annual Birdhouse Competition and Exhibit is free with adult, youth (unassisted) and team-family divisions.

All birdhouses must be original works with no commercial or assembled kits allowed. All entries must be freestanding on their own post and ready for installation outdoors.

There is no theme for the contest. Any style or form of birdhouse is allowed, but organizers encourage the use of natural, reclaimed and recycled materials.

Judges will pick a variety of entries to be exhibited at Ogden Nature Center April 10-31 and an awards presentation with cash prizes will be held at the building on April 9 at 5:30 p.m.
