Police in Murray are looking for a toddler whose mother may have illegally taken him from his home.

Giovanni Marks, 15 months, was reported missing by his family about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, said Murray police spokesman Kenny Bass.

Relatives reported that his mother, 19-year-old Lady Ashley Marks, was visiting the boy, who lives with his father and other relatives in accordance with an injunction issued by a judge.

Another relative was with the mother and toddler for most of the visit, but left them alone for a short time, Bass said. When the relative returned, the mother and child were gone.

Relatives believe the mother is headed to Spokane. They had no description of the car or the clothing worn by the baby or his mother, Bass said.

The mother is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 118 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. The baby has brown hair and brown eyes, Bass said.
