State colleges: Utah women's soccer team shuts out Oregon State

Freshman Taylor Slattery scored an early goal, and the Utah women's soccer team beat Oregon State 1-0 Sunday in a Pac-12 match at Ute Field.

Slattery scored in the 14th minute off a pass from Katie Taylor, and the Utes (6-1-5, 2-0-1) made it a weekend sweep after beating Oregon 1-0 on Saturday.

Utah goalkeeper Lindsey Luke made three saves while earning the shutout.

Utah State 1, Wyoming 0 • In Logan, Jennifer Flynn scored in the 52nd minute to lift the Aggies (6-4-2, 2-1-0) to the Mountain West win. USU goalkeeper Jeannie Woller made four saves to earn the shutout.

Seattle 2, Utah Valley 0 • In Orem, the first-place Redhawks scored a goal in each half to win the WAC game.
