If any topic in the news has raised plenty of reader questions, it’s today’s debut of the Affordable Care Act’s insurance marketplace.
The Salt Lake Tribune’s coverage team has some answers, which we’ve detailed in a series of stories leading up to today.
In addition to this consumer-focused reporting, we’re offering a new forum that aims to give you direct access to our reporters as well as ACA experts to whom you can pose your questions.
Our Trib Talk live video chats at www.sltrib.com are your opportunity to weigh in, sound off and further educate yourself so you can make better decisions about health care and other issues Utahns face.
Starting with today’s discussion about small business impacts of the ACA, Trib Talk, previously a weekly program, becomes a weekday fixture at 12:15 p.m. at sltrib.com. Jennifer Napier-Pearce will continue to moderate discussions on general news topics, while Brennan Smith will moderate on sports-related topics.
We encourage you to participate by posting questions or comments at the end of the introductory story in which the live video will be embedded online. You also may post questions on Twitter or Google Plus using a TribTalk hashtag.
For those unable to watch or participate in the live chat, we will provide a brief summary of the discussion into which we will embed the archived video so people can watch at their leisure.
Our interaction with you is vital to our work. If you haven’t already, check out Trib Talk. Let us know what you think.
