Mustangs take series from Raptors

The host Billings Mustangs beat the Ogden Raptors 6-4 on Tuesday in a Pioneer League game, wrapping up a 3-1 victory in the series.

Ogden starter Victor Araujo took the loss, giving up four runs in the first two innings before settling down and eventually leaving the game with the Raptors trailing 4-0 after five innings. Ogden right fielder Joey Curletta had three RBIs.

Gabriel Rosa and Nick Benedetto homered for Billings.

Owlz 3, Osprey 2 (3, suspended) • Orem's Michael Fish hit a three-run homer in the first inning to give the Owlz the lead before the game was suspended after three innings due to rain.
