A Salt Lake County man is accused of swinging an ax at his teenage neighbor during an argument Monday afternoon.

The teen had driven to his home, near 230 W. Fox Bridge Drive (8400 South), when the neighbor, 23, came over and confronted him to criticize his driving, said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

The teen and the man argued, and the man left, Hoyal said. He then returned with an ax, which he swung at the teen, striking the teen's hand, Hoyal said.

The teen was treated for minor injuries to his hand. The neighbor was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault.
