Three women were hurt, one critically, in a Sunday night one-vehicle accident in northern Utah's Rich County.

A Rich County sheriff's dispatcher said the cause of the accident was under investigation Monday, but the vehicle in which the women were riding went out of control and crashed about 8:45 p.m. Sunday. It was traveling on the east side of Bear Lake, near the North Eden Campground at the time.

One woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries, another was transported by ambulance to Evanston, Wyo., Regional Hospital in fair condition, and the third woman was flown by helicopter to Ogden Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

No further information on the women's ages, hometowns or names was immediately available.
