Grizzlies beat Bees on sacrifice fly
The host Fresno Grizzlies scored on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning to beat the Salt Lake Bees 9-8 in a Pacific Coast League game Saturday night. Salt Lake reliever Ryan Brasier took the loss, giving up three runs on five hits over 21â3 innings.
Fresno's Roger Kieschnick drove in the winning run with a bases-loaded fly ball with nobody out in the 10th.
Salt Lake's Cole Calhoun hit a three-run homer in the first inning, and the Bees surged to a 7-1 lead in the second as Tommy Field hit a two-run single, and Efren Navarro added an RBI double.
The Bees committed three errors and gave up two unearned runs in the game.
