Provo police are looking for the man who allegedly robbed an insurance company.

About 5 p.m. Friday, a man walked into Advanced Insurance at 363 N. University Ave. and pointed what a 27-year-old female employee described as a 9-mm handgun at her, according to a police news release.

The suspect then demanded money from her. She tried to stand up, but he pushed her to the ground and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, the release adds.

Police describe the suspect as a Latino male in his 30s, who is 150 pounds and 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing black jeans, white tennis shoes, an oversized black sweatshirt with a hoody with a picture of a skeleton on it pulled over his head.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Provo Police Department at 801-852-6210.
