FX has some big news, and not just the renewal of "Justified" for a fifth season (although that’s reason to celebrate).
The network will launch a sister channel this fall, called FXX, leaning toward comedy and aiming for younger viewers. "Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "The League" and "Legit" will move to the new channel to aid the launch, along with "Totally Biased with W. Kamu Bell," which will grow from weekly to a five-night-a week show.
FXX will launch Sept. 2 while the Fox Movie Channel will expand as FXM, focused on limited run series. FXM begins with a 10-episode adaptation of "Fargo" with the Coen brothers on board as executive producers.
This is the second major expansion announced by the News Corp. in a month; Fox Sports 1 is due to launch this summer.
