In an experiment, the Utah women's volleyball team hosted one match in the Huntsman Center in 2012. The Utes lost the match against Stanford, but the experience was positive.

Starting in the fall, the Utes will leave cozy Crimson Court, where they won 75 percent of their matches, for the Huntsman Center.

"There is so much Utah volleyball history and tradition in Crimson Court, but it is time for our program to play in the Huntsman Center," Utah coach Beth Launiere said. "While it is sad to say good bye to the intimate venue where we have had so many big wins over the years, we feel the level of our volleyball program and the Pac-12 Conference warrants this move. We are looking forward to this new and exciting change!"

Although the final schedule has not been finalized, the Utes will host a full Pac-12 schedule as well as BYU.

Between 1994 and 2012, the Utes were 189-63 in Crimson Court.
