Utah Jazz: Millsap, Tinsley could miss game vs. Detroit (with video)

The Utah Jazz could be shorthanded Monday night when they attempt to snap a four-game losing streak against Detroit at EnergySolutions Arena.
Veteran forward Paul Millsap, who missed Saturday night’s 113-84 loss at New York, is listed as doubtful because of a bruised knee.
Millsap did not participate in the morning shootaround. As he left the arena, he said his injured knee felt better but that it still is sore.
Asked if he will play against the Pistons, Millsap said, "I don’t know. We’ll see. ... Don’t count me out."
The Jazz also might play without veteran point guard Jamaal Tinsley, who missed the shootaround because of illness.
Utah’s newest player, shooting guard Travis Leslie, will be available against the Pistons.
He has signed a 10-day contract with the Jazz after averaging 16.1 points and 7.4 rebounds with Santa Cruz in the NBA Developmental League this season.
After the shootaround, Leslie spent an extra 45 minutes with members of the Jazz coaching staff, who gave him a crash course on the team’s offense.
"They are just trying to get me comfortable in the system — going over plays, just [me] getting good shots up," Leslie said.
Leslie, a former second-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Clippers, takes a roster spot that opened when the Jazz waived veteran Raja Bell over the weekend.
"I was excited," Leslie said, referring to the call from the Jazz. "It’s a great opportunity to come out here and show what I can do — do whatever they need me to do."
