A Sandy man was charged Tuesday with multiple felonies related to allegations that he got several teenage girls drunk at his house and filmed them doing sexually explicit acts in his bedroom.

Between May and July of 2010, the 55-year-old man would allegedly throw parties at his house where he offered large amounts of alcohol to underage teenagers. In one instance cited in charging documents filed in 3rd District Court, the defendant allegedly lured a 16-year-old girl into his bedroom with another underage girl and told them to kiss each other and expose their breasts while he filmed them with his cell phone.

During the parties, the man also would make sexually suggestive comments to other teenage girls while rubbing their breasts and thighs over their clothes.

In July 2010, police served a search warrant on the man's home and found three videos of teenage girls, one of whom identified herself as a 16-year-old in a video, with their buttocks exposed.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office charged the 55-year-old with three second-degree felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, one second-degree felony count of forcible sexual abuse, and a third-degree felony count of dealing in harmful material to a minor.
