TV preview: 'Smash' is same, only different
NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt recently referred to "Smash" as "an unqualified success." Which was sort of surprising, given that he replaced the show's creator with a new show runner ("Gossip Girl" vet Josh Safran), dropped several characters, added others and changed the show's focus. "I can't qualify unqualified success," Greenblatt said. Sigh.
