Rin Tin Tin in action

The 1925 silent adventure "Clash of the Wolves," starring the most popular star in Hollywood at the time: Rin Tin Tin, the heroic German shepherd, who portrays the half-breed leader of a wolf pack. Taking his shot

"Carlitos and the Chance of a Lifetime," a wacky kid-friendly comedy from Spain about a soccer-mad orphan who wants to try out for the national junior team — despite the objections of the orphanage's director. Presented by the Utah Film Center as part of its year-round "Tumbleweeds" program. A reader will read the subtitles for younger viewers, and a limited number of headsets will be available.

Realizing the 'Ring'

'Devil's Carnival' at Tower

A Marine's search

The documentary "Semper Fi: Always Faithful," which follows a Marine's search for answers after his 9-year-old daughter dies of a rare form of leukemia— a search that uncovers an environmental cover-up at the Marines' Camp Lejeune, N.C. After the film, Salt Lake City Water Quality and Treatment Administrator Florence Reynolds will discuss local groundwater contamination issues. Presented as part of Salt Lake City's Water Week, by the Natural History Museum of Utah and the Utah Film Center.

One ring of power
