It had to happen: The new City Creek Center has its own parody Twitter account.

It started the day after the downtown Salt Lake City shopping center opened on March 22. On March 23, this tweet was posted:

The retractable roof was such a hit, we're thinking of making a retractable floor with pool underneath. Thoughts?

Since then, the messages have a pointed rich-vs.-poor message. For example:

Now offering full service orphan shoe shining service. We'd Recommend the spit-shine deluxe.

Come out tomorrow for the worlds first Fabergé egg hunt. Only $12 million per entry, limited to 5. [ed. note: This ran just before Easter.]

The first annual #citycreek hobo organ harvest festival begins Thursday, pagan wear available for rental or purchase from Prada.

Today, a tweet on the parody feed took aim at the competition (from which this blog is typed):

Flash mob @Gateway to make everyone feel better about shopping at an inferior mall

City Creek's real Twitter account is here, by the way. It's not nearly as funny.
