In April, the Utah Lit book club conversation will focus on the nonfiction book "Train" by former Tribune reporter Tom Zoellner, now an associate professor at Chapman University in Los Angeles. The book, released in January, follows the reporter on train-hopping journeys through India, northern England ("a J.R.R. Tolkien vision come to life"), up the Peruvian Andes and across the Trans-Siberian Railroad. Calling the writer an "unabashed train fanatic," a Booklist reviewer called the book "an absorbing and lively reflection on an enduring marvel of the modern industrial technology."
