Trib Talk: Mormons, weddings and temples

First Published Feb 17 2014 07:09AM      Last Updated Feb 18 2014 08:36 am

Rumor has it that requirements for Mormon temple weddings could be changing.

In Europe and South America, faithful LDS couples can be married civilly and then go to an LDS temple for religious rites, but in North America, couples must wait a year if they have a civil wedding first.

On Monday at 12:15 p.m., Tribune religion reporter Peggy Fletcher Stack and columnist Robert Kirby join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about LDS temple policies and calls by some for change.
