Lindsay S. Nixon, author of the Happy Herbivore Cookbook Series and the award-winning happyherbivore.com blog, is holding a meet-up tonight at Frisch eatery, 779 S. 500 East, in Salt Lake City.
From 6 to 8 p.m., fans can meet Nixon, ask questions about vegetarian and healthy eating as well as get cookbooks signed.
Nixon has sold more than 100,000 cookbooks including The Happy Herbivore Cookbook, Everyday Happy Herbivore and Happy Herbivore Abroad. She has been featured on The Food Network and Dr. Oz, and her recipes have been featured in the New York Times, Vegetarian Times magazine, Shape Magazine and other print and online publications.
