Forum for Questioning Minds — Dorothee Kocks

The Forum for Questioning Minds will feature Dorothee Kocks in the discussion of the "Surprising Sexual Revolution of Our Founding Fathers ... and Mothers." Kocks, formerly an assistant professor of history at the University of Utah, will discuss the sex-positive Puritans of the 1760s.

Folk Songs for Climate Justice

Peaceful Uprising will hold a benefit concert to help launch its new Earth Day CD: "Folk Songs for Climate Justice." The compilation contains 14 powerful songs from national touring and local performing songwriters.

Aquinas Lecture — Pamela Atkinson

The St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center will present Pamela Atkinson, an advocate for homelessness, health care and basic needs, who will give the Aquinas Lecture on "Making a Difference and Giving Hope." Light refreshments will be served after the lecture.

Armenian Apostolic Church

The Parish Council of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Utah will present Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, who will conduct the Divine Liturgy. After the liturgy, the archbishop will address his plans for the Armenian community. For more information, contact Ohannes Megerdichian at 801-576-0249.
