Pay a visit to Rocky Point's zombies

Rocky Point Haunted House will reopen for one season as an interactive, live event named Junkyard Zombies. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Rocky Point Foundation and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake. Visit http://www.junkyardzombies.com for information.

Give kids school supplies, toys, encouragement

Operation Christmas Child participants can drop off gift-filled boxes at Hidden Valley Presbyterian Church. The program provides shoe boxes filled with school supplies, toys, necessity items and a letter of encouragement for millions of children around the world.

Food donations welcomed in Ogden

Catholic Community Services will collect and donate holiday food items, including turkeys, hams of all sizes, canned yams and pumpkin, cranberry sauce, stuffing, potatoes, gravy and canned vegetables. Food may be donated at the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank, 2504 F Ave., or at United Way of Northern Utah.
