The Downtown Dine O'Round kicks off on Friday, Sept. 14 and continues through Sunday, Sept. 30.
During the 17-day promotion 42 Salt Lake City restaurants will be offering dining deals. Depending on the restaurant, you can get either a two-item lunch for $5 or $10 or a three-course dinner for $15 or $30.
Restaurants serving all kinds of cuisines are represented — from Asian to Mexican and Italian to Indian. Several steak houses, bistros and cafes also are participating.
Of course, the $5 lunches always peak my interest — this year you can find them at Bocata (in City Creek food court), Green Pig Pub, J. Wong's Asian Bistro, Stoneground and Wing Nutz.
