Shop talk » Cottonwood Heights contractor Thomas Cobb started Planet Yogurt two years ago. His wife — who is from California — saw self-serve yogurt businesses taking off, and the couple wanted a business to generate money for their kids. Everything he earns at the store is saved for their two children "to ensure my kids have a wonderful life as adults." The business not only provides combinations from 12 flavors of yogurt and more than 50 toppings, it also sells snow cones. In a month or so, it will begin selling boba tapioca drinks.
