Most local restaurants are easy to locate simply by following the street address and looking for a sign.

Other establishments — like the 12 listed here — require a bit of sleuthing, as they are hidden inside stores, markets and buildings. For those willing to hunt, these offer some great dining rewards.

Cabela's restaurant and deli • This cafeteria-style eatery offers wild game sandwiches and grilled items such as ostrich, wild boar and elk. Traditional soups, salads and pizza also are available.

Hours • Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cafe Solstice • Owner Erin Arrigo and her staff serve salads, sandwiches, wraps and a daily soup special.

Daly's Pub & Rec • Great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a bowling alley and games make this a great escape.

Eatery 1025 • Serves sandwiches, small plates and entrées focusing on local ingredients.

Ginger's Garden Cafe • There's something for every eating regimen on the menu: vegetarian sandwiches, vegan burgers, raw soups and wraps for meat-lovers.

IKEA Restaurant • Try a plate of the signature meatballs with lingonberry sauce or the apple cake. The Swedish market also sells imported chocolates, fish and jams.

Lion House Pantry • Rolls and a bowl of soup are the main attraction, but you can't go wrong with the cookies and pies.

Where • Inside Deseret Book stores in American Fork, Bountiful, Midvale, Harrisville, Logan, Orem and Spanish Fork.

Rosie's Deli • From her tiny kitchen, owner Amber Rose Radman prepare soups, salads, sandwiches and daily specials fresh each day.

Roula's Cafe • This Greek-American cafe offers traditional breakfasts and lunches as well as gyros, kebabs and other Greek specialties.

Hours • Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Three Forks Cafe • At this family-owned restaurant, try the breakfast burritos, vegetarian chili and turkey cranberry sandwich.

Victor's restaurant • The sincronizada, a quesadilla stuffed with ham, avocado, Mexican cheese and jalapeño peppers, is the signature dish. But don't leave without the homemade tamales, served in several varieties, ranging from pork in green salsa to chicken mole.
