"The General" — one of the all-time classic comedies of the silent-movie era — will screen Thursday, March 22, and Friday, March 23, at The Organ Loft, 3331 S. Edison St., South Salt Lake City.
Buster Keaton in starred and co-directed this masterpiece, which tells of a Confederate train engineer whose engine is stolen by Union troops. The engineer risks life and limb, going behind enemy lines, to retrieve the locomotive.
