Beer takes the night off Wednesday, April 4, when the Park City Area Restaurant Association hosts its semiannual "Park City Cocktail Contest" and fundraiser.
Mixologists from 16 Park City restaurants will square-off beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Cisero’s Ristorante and Good Times Bar, 306 Main St., shaking, stirring and mixing their best drink for a panel of celebrity judges. The cocktail with the best presentation, taste and appearance will be crowned Park City’s "Signature Cocktail" for spring and summer 2012 will appear on bar menus throughout the mountain town.
The winning mixologist will receive a $100 cash prize and bragging rights.
Admission is $10 for those 21 and older. Includes snacks and the chance to vote for the "People’s Choice" cocktail. All proceeds will go toward the People’s Health Clinic, a nonprofit health clinic for uninsured individuals and families in Utah’s Summit and Wasatch counties.
