Eat more mushrooms.

Why

Fungi are packed with antioxidants, B vitamins, trace minerals and phytonutrients, says Woodson Merrell, director of the Department of Integrative Medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. They also help ease your mind, fight inflammations, boost immunity and increase energy.

How

White button mushrooms are readily available at most grocery stores; venture into other exciting types, such as chanterelles, oysters, shiitakes and enoki varieties. Add to a salad, soup, chicken dishes or just sauté them as a side dish.
