Tonight: 'Being Elmo' at SLC library
As a kid growing up in Baltimore, Kevin Clash had a dream: To become a puppeteer, and work with his idol, Muppets creator Jim Henson.
Clash made that dream come true, and then some as the man who gives voice and life to a red furry monster by the name of Elmo.
Clash's story is told in director Constance Marks' documentary "Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey," which screens on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Salt Lake City Main Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City.
The movie screens at 7 p.m., and admission is free.
The screening is presented by the Utah Film Center.
