A new website that provides diners with the latest news, events and deals at Park City restaurants and bars was launched last week at parkcityrestaurants.com. One of the features is a restaurant finder, which allows people to search for restaurants based on cuisine. The site also includes a roundup of daily, weekly and monthly specials at area restaurants. The site "is designed to be a central point of inspiration for both locals and visitors who want to scope out restaurants or bars before heading out for a meal," said Ginger Ries, executive director of the Park City Restaurant Association, which launched the site. "Plus, the interactive layout is great for people with smartphones that want to make a quick decision on the go."
Date night in Logan
Wednesday is date night at The Beehive Grill in Logan. Through December, couples can get an appetizer, two entrees and two mugs of the restaurant's signature root beer for $17.99. Peek at City Creek
Tickets are on sale for a charity gala and shopping event at the City Creek Center, a new shopping mall rising in downtown Salt Lake City. The benefit will be held Wednesday, March 21, one day before the project opens to the public. Besides live entertainment and food, guests will be able to shop at Nordstrom, Macy's and dozens of other new stores. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Ballet West, The Road Home, Utah's Hogle Zoo and the Junior League of Salt Lake City.

Food donations
The Sunflower Farmers Market in Salt Lake City is making it easy for customers to help those less fortunate. At checkout, add $5, $10 or $15 to the bill and the money will be donated to the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake City to purchase bags of food.
