"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is 47 years old. "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is 45. "Frosty the Snowman" is a mere 42.

But in addition to all the, ahem, evergreen Christmas TV specials, there are new offerings every year as well. Because you can never have too much Christmas spirit.

There are even a couple of new TV movies with Utah ties this season. The Hallmark Channel's "A Christmas Wish" was filmed in 2010 in Mapleton, and the Disney Channel's "Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas" was filmed at various sites around the state.

Here are some new holiday offerings that will join Rudolph, the Grinch and Frosty:

A Christmas Wish • (Sunday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. on Hallmark Channel) In this TV movie, a woman and her children are suddenly homeless just days before Christmas.

Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas • (Thursday, Nov. 24, 7 p.m. on Fox/Channel 13) In this follow-up to the three "Ice Age" movies, Sid and his crew accidentally destroy Santa's Workshop on Christmas Eve.

Jingle All the Way • (Friday, Nov. 25, at 6 p.m. on Hallmark Channel) In this animated special, a puppy goes looking for a family to call his own.

Hoops & Yoyo Ruin Christmas • (Friday, Nov. 25, 7 p.m. on CBS/Channel 2) In this animated adventure, a kitty and a bunny become accidental stowaways on Santa's sleigh.

The Elf on the Shelf: An Elf's Story • (Friday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m. on CBS/Channel 2) This animated half-hour follows Chippey, one of many scout elves who helps Santa Claus decide who's been naughty and who's been nice.

Holiday Heist • (Sunday, Nov. 27, at noon on Ion/Channel 16) TV movie about a group of college students trying to prevent a holiday art theft.

Mandie and the Forgotten Christmas • (Sunday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m. on Ion/Channel 16) Mandie must find the key to unlock memories of a long-ago Christmas.

Desperately Seeking Santa • (Sunday, Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. on ABC Family) A marketing executive gets more than she bargained for when her "Sexy Santa" contest winner turns out to be more than just a handsome face in this romantic holiday movie.

Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas • (Friday, Dec. 2, at 9 p.m. on Disney Channel) This TV movie finds the Duncan family of the "Good Luck Charlie" sitcom scrambling to reunite for the holidays.

A Princess from Christmas • (Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. on Hallmark Channel) TV movie about a woman and her orphaned niece and nephew who are invited to spend the holidays with the kids' grandfather, an English duke.

Hercules Saves Christmas • (Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. on Animal Planet) A talking dog offers a boy a place on Santa's "nice" list if he can help a sad, down-on-his-luck soul find Christmas spirit.

The Heart of Christmas • (Sunday, Dec. 4, at 5 p.m. on GMC) Fact-based TV movie about a family's quest for their dying son to experience an early Christmas.

A Golden Christmas 2 • (Sunday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. on Ion/Channel 16) In this TV movie, a golden retriever helps a couple on the road to true love.

A Michael BublĂ© Christmas • (Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. on NBC/Channel 5) The Grammy-winning singer headlines his first network special.

A Christmas Kiss • (Sunday, Dec. 11, at noon on Ion/Channel 16) TV movie about a romantic triangle that complicates Christmas.

The Christmas Pageant • (Sunday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. on Hallmark Channel) TV movie about a recently fired Broadway director whose only option is getting a community Christmas play up and going.

12 Dates of Christmas • (Sunday, Dec. 11, at 9 p.m. on ABC Family) Romantic comedy TV movie about a young woman who relives the same first date on Christmas Eve over and over again.

Christmas Comes Home to Canaan • (Saturday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m. on Hallmark Channel) TV movie sequel about a father trying to keep his family together.

Deck the Halls • (Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. on TNT) This TV movie features detectives trying to solve a kidnapping on the eve of the holidays.
